Jeep has announced the all-new Jeep Grand Cherokee, set to be released later this year.  The new Jeep Grand Cherokee in Tacoma will not only have improved performance and off-road capabilities, but much improved fuel-efficiency.  Jeep is also enhancing interior comfort and technology, exterior design and adding an adjustable air-ride suspension.

According to Jeep, the Grand Cherokee’s new 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine will provide 240 horsepower and have best-in-class fuel economy.  The Grand Cherokee’s fuel ratings should come in around 22 MPG in the city and 30 on the highway.  Another engine will also be available with more power, higher performance, a tow capacity of 6,200 lbs and lower fuel-efficiency.

The new Jeep interior has been created to compete with premier and luxury models like Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover.  This in no way will diminish the Jeep’s capability off the road, just a add a bit of comfort to any off-road experience.
