For the new model year, the 2013 Dodge Charger in Tacoma has been given more power and the optional navigation has been much improved.  The ultra-high performance Charter SRT8 has received launch control and an upgraded adaptive suspension damper system.

The Charger is powered by a standard 3.6-liter flex-fuel V6 engine, providing 300 horsepower.  The Charger R/T trim upgrades the V6 engine to a 5.7-liter V8 which provides 370 horsepower while the 6.4-liter V8 provides a whopping 470 horsepower on the SRT8 versions.  The V6 offers an admirable 27 MPG fuel rating on the highway, while the SXT has a 31 MPG capability rating.

Though cars like the Ford Taurus and the Chrysler 300 are considered competition to the Charger, it really is in a class all its own.  As a full-size muscle sedan, the Charger provides fuel-efficiency, performance, style and space.  There aren’t many non-luxury vehicles that provide the V8 rumble in a sedan.
